01 — Scope of work
BLF approaches disputes with a clear principle: litigation is the last resort. Before taking any matter to court or arbitration, our Dispute team always assesses the viability of mediation — both to reduce cost and to protect long-term commercial relationships.
When litigation is unavoidable, BLF has deep experience handling complex cases before People's Courts at all levels, VIAC arbitration and international arbitration centres — with a track record in matters involving foreign elements.

02 — Common engagements
A real estate developer disputed payment and delay compensation with the general contractor. BLF represented the respondent in a 14-month VIAC proceeding and obtained a favourable award.
An internal JV dispute between the Vietnamese and Singaporean parties over share dilution. BLF represented the Vietnamese party at SIAC, successfully negotiating an exit settlement.
An exclusive distributor and a foreign manufacturer disputed contract termination. BLF organised a successful mediation, avoiding court proceedings and preserving the commercial relationship.
